Charles Waddilove

Admiral Charles Lodowick Darley Waddilove (13 May 1828 – 17 October 1896) was a Royal Navy officer who went on to be Commander-in-Chief, The Nore.

William James Darley Waddilove,[1] Charles Waddilove was appointed a lieutenant in the Royal Navy in 1849.

[2] He was appointed Commander-in-Chief, The Nore in 1887 and retired in 1893.

[2] He lived at Beacon Grange in Hexham.

[1] He married Mary Elizabeth Blackett-Ord; they had five daughters and three sons.
