Charles Wagenheim

Charles Wagenheim (February 21, 1896 – March 6, 1979) was an American actor who appeared in over 250 films.

[1] Charles Wagenheim was born in Newark, New Jersey, on February 21, 1896.

On the small screen he played, among others, the role of Halligan in 29 episodes of the television series Gunsmoke from 1966 to 1975 and numerous other secondary characters or guest star roles in many episodes of television series from the fifties to the late seventies.

His cinema career consists of various participations; he took part in particular in many films of the western genre between the 1930s and 1950s.

He was credited for the last time on television screens in an episode broadcast on 25 March 1979, entitled The Return of Stephanie's Father and part of the Arcibaldo series, in which he plays the role of Bum.
