Charles William Alfred Marks (21 December 1919 – 19 January 2005) was an English professional footballer.
He played for Gillingham for fifteen years, making him one of the longest-serving players in the Kent club's history.
[2] In 1958, aged nearly 40, he left to join non-league Tonbridge, his final club.
[3] Marks was famous for his fierce shot and once broke the net with a penalty kick.
[3] After leaving football Marks worked as a stock controller in a paper mill.
