Charmaine Smith (born 15 November 1990) is a New Zealand rugby union player.

She previously played for the Blues Women in the Super Rugby Aupiki competition before switching to Chiefs Manawa in 2023.

She was named in the Black Ferns squad for the 2017 Rugby World Cup in Ireland.

[3] Smith retired from playing rugby in 2020 for health reasons, and returned to her career as a sergeant in the New Zealand Police.

[4][5] A week after giving birth, Smith had a progress scan and was "cleared of any residual health issues".
