Chay Weng Yew (22 February 1928 – 27 August 2004) was a Singaporean weightlifter.
[3] He competed in the men's featherweight event at the 1952 Summer Olympics,[4] placing sixth.
[5] He represented Singapore at the 1954 Asian Games, held in Manila.
He won a bronze medal in the Men's Featherweight 60 kg competition.
In October of the following year, Chay, then a bank clerk, announced that he would be retiring from weightlifting.
