The university is accredited to confer bachelor's and master's degrees.
In May 2003, the university resumed its status as an undergraduate institution and was renamed Chengdu College.
In August 2013, all state-owned assets of the Sichuan Antibiotic Industry Research Institute were transferred to Chengdu College free of charge.
As of March 2023, the university's campuses cover more than 2300 acres, with a building area of approximately 992,100 square meters.
The library holds a collection of more than 2.52 million paper books and 952,000 electronic journals.
