Montpelier (/mɒntˈpiːljər/ mont-PEEL-yər)[3] is a town in Kewaunee County, Wisconsin, United States.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 36.1 square miles (93.6 km2), of which 0.01 square miles (0.03 km2), or 0.03%, are water.
[4] As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 1,371 people, 482 households, and 382 families residing in the town.
There were 492 housing units at an average density of 13.6 per square mile (5.3/km2).
18.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 9.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
