Chernsky District (Russian: Че́рнский райо́н) is an administrative district (raion), one of the twenty-three in Tula Oblast, Russia.

[1] As a municipal division, it is incorporated as Chernsky Municipal District.

[4] It is located in the southwest of the oblast.

The area of the district is 1,614 square kilometers (623 sq mi).

[2] Its administrative center is the urban locality (a work settlement) of Chern.
