Jordan Township, Michigan

[4] Chestonia 45°03′37″N 85°04′39″W / 45.06028°N 85.07750°W / 45.06028; -85.07750 was a town that once stood near the present-day junction of M-66 and East Old State Road.

No structures from the original town still stand, and the railroad grade is barely noticeable through the overgrowth of trees and weeds.

As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 875 people, 323 households, and 240 families residing in the township.

There were 433 housing units at an average density of 12.3 per square mile (4.7/km2).

20.4% of all households were made up of individuals, and 8.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
