Chetan Sakariya

[1] Sakariya hails from a village called Vartej located 15 km from Bhavnagar in the state of Gujarat.

[2] Sheldon Jackson, a senior player in the Saurashtra team, bought him a new shoe and helped him train.

[5] He made his first-class debut for Saurashtra in the 2018–19 Ranji Trophy on 20 November 2018,[6] taking a five-wicket haul in the first innings.

[8] In February 2021, Sakariya was bought by the Rajasthan Royals for 1.2 crores in the IPL auction ahead of the 2021 Indian Premier League.

[15] In February 2022, he was bought by the Delhi Capitals in the auction for the 2022 Indian Premier League tournament.
