The women's team consisted of the defending bronze medalists Wang Bingyu, Liu Yin, Yue Qingshuang, Zhou Yan, and new alternate Jiang Yilun.

They qualified the maximum number of starting places with 3 for each gender in each distance (500m, 1000m, & 1500m) and both a men's and women's relay team.
