Chorotypidae

Chorotypidae is a family of tropical Asian grasshoppers (order Orthoptera), formerly included within the family Eumastacidae.

These grasshoppers have a head that rises above the level of the thorax and short antennae.

They lack abdominal tympani (hearing organs).
