Christopher Robert Bury (born December 10, 1953) is an American journalist best known for being a correspondent at ABC News Nightline, where he also served as substitute anchor.
Bury was also a national correspondent based in Chicago for World News with Diane Sawyer[1] and Good Morning America.
Bury's recent work includes contributions to PBS NewsHour and Al Jazeera America.
In January 1981, he served as co-host and reporter for "EXTRA," an award-winning television program at KTVI-TV in St. Louis.
In 1992, Bury was assigned full-time coverage of Bill Clinton's Presidential campaign for World News Tonight, and was relocated to Nightline in Washington, D.C. after the inauguration, where he served as a correspondent and anchor until 2007.
