Chris Del Conte

Chris Del Conte (born June 19, 1968) is an American college athletics administrator.

[1] Under Del Conte, Texas has won the Directors' Cup as the nation's top performing athletic department in the 2020-21, 2021-22 and 2023-24 seasons.

His parents were Christian missionaries who ran a service home for over 150 foster children and founded the San Felipe Humanitarian Alliance.

[3][4] He is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he was a student-athlete in track and field and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology.

On May 22, 2024, Del Conte won the Sports Business Journal's 2024 Athletic Director of the Year award.
