Chris McDonald is a retired American soccer player who spent most of his career in indoor leagues.
On February 1, 1997, the San Jose Clash selected him in the third round (twenty-first overall) of the 1997 MLS College Draft.
In June 1997, he signed with the Sacramento Knights of the Continental Indoor Soccer League.
The team folded after the 2001 season and the San Diego Sockers selected McDonald in the Dispersal Draft.
In 2004, McDonald also played for the amateur Sacramento Knights of the Men's Professional Soccer League.
