May Christina Persighetti née Cops (6 July 1936 – 31 October 2012) was a British athlete who competed at the 1960 Summer Olympics.
[1] Cops finished third behind Thelma Hopkins in the long jump event at the 1955 WAAA Championships[2] and third again behind Sheila Hoskin at the 1956 WAAA Championships.
[5][6] At the 1960 Olympic Games in Rome, she represented Great Britain in the women's long jump competition.
[7] Persighetti finished second behind Mary Rand at the 1961 WAAA Championships.
