Christy Zito

Christy Zito is an American politician formerly serving as a Republican member of the Idaho Senate from the 23rd district.

She received an Associate of Science degree in farm and ranch management from Bridgerland Technical College.

After having served for two terms, she filed for election to succeed Bert Brackett in the Idaho Senate.

In 2019, Zito also sponsored House Bill 206 which allowed Idaho residents, ages 18–20, to concealed carry without a permit.

[3][4] The bill passed both chambers with supermajority support was signed by Idaho Governor Brad Little on April 2, 2019.
