Chump and Co is a 1939 Australian radio serial for children by Max Afford.
Afford had achieved fame writing detective stories, particularly those featuring his hero Jeffrey Blackburn.
He investigates a crime with Betty and Bob Burton, and their scatter-brained mother.
The Return of Chump and Co began in November 1939 and went until January 1940.
ABC Weekly said "The Return of Chump and Co has been so popular with girls and boys throughout Australia, that I think we’ll have to ask Max Afford to write The Return of Chump and Co."[6]
