Ciara Charteris

Ciara Charteris (born 3 August 1995), is a South African-born British producer, writer, activist, and former actress.

In January 1998 at three years old, she moved to the Clapham area of South West London with her family as her parents' careers were taking off, her father Roger's as a talent agent and producer, and her mother Robyn's as a writer.

She went on to train at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama before withdrawing during her second year when she was cast in Close to the Enemy.

[7] After quitting acting in 2019, Charteris pursued a Master of Science in the Psychology and Neuroscience of Mental Health at King's College London.

That same year, she joined the cast of the BBC One period drama Poldark as Emma Tregirls, a role she would play for its third and fourth series.
