Claude Goretta (23 June 1929 – 20 February 2019)[1] was a Swiss television producer and film director.
During the 1950s, Goretta worked for the British Film Institute in their programme planning department.
His first film, Nice Time, co-directed with Alain Tanner, was made through the BFI Production Board.
[citation needed] Goretta is buried at the Cimetière des Rois (Cemetery of Kings), which is considered the Genevan Panthéon.
