Claude Ramey (29 October 1754 – 4 June 1838) was a French sculptor.
Ramey was born in Dijon and received his art training in the École de Dessin in that city under François Devosge.
He then went to Paris and studied Sculpture with Étienne-Pierre-Adrien Gois.
[1] Between 1806 and 1810 he was engaged on the bas reliefs on the Vendôme Column in Paris.
In 1817, he was elected to the Academie des Beaux Arts; amongst his students was Jean-Pierre Cortot.
