Claudia Jane Mills (born August 21, 1954, in New York City) is an American author of children's books.
She is also an associate professor of philosophy at the University of Colorado Boulder.
[3] Mills received a Bachelor of Arts from Wellesley College in 1976, a Master of Arts from Princeton University in 1979, and a Master of Library and Information Science from the University of Maryland in 1988.
She then returned to Princeton University to receive a Doctor of Philosophy in 1991.
