Clifford Clogg

Clifford Collier Clogg (October 16, 1949 – May 7, 1995) was an American sociologist, demographer, and statistician.

Clogg was born in 1949 in Oberlin, Ohio.

Starting in 1976 he served at the Pennsylvania State University faculty, rising to the rank of Distinguished Professor of Sociology and Professor of Statistics.

[1][2] He served as an editor of several journals, including the Journal of the American Statistical Association, Demography, Sociological Methodology, and the Journal of Educational and Behavioral Statistics.

Clogg Scholarship of the Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research[5] are named in his honor.
