Clinton Day (March 17, 1847 – January 11, 1916) was an American architect, active on the West Coast of the United States.
[1] Day was born on March 17, 1847, in Brooklyn, New York City; and he moved to California when 8 years old.
Day graduated from the College of California in 1868, and received his MA degree from the same institution in 1874.
He designed Architecture Building and Metallurgical Laboratory at the University of California, Berkeley.
Clinton was the great-grandson of American founding father Roger Sherman.
