Clozee

Chloé Herry[1] (born 12 August 1992),[2][3] known professionally as CloZee, is a French musician, DJ, producer, and label manager of UK bass, glitch, dubstep, trap, and world music.

She developed an interest in classical guitar; after observing her watch hours of YouTube videos of John Williams and Spanish flamenco player Vicente Amigo, her parents enrolled her in classical-guitar lessons, which she attended for five years.

While taking lessons, Herry formed a band with friends, using the free practices rooms at the town cultural center and each other's houses to play rock, soul, and funk music.

[4] In 2012, she released her first official EP Dubious; the same year, she self-released two albums, Remixes and Guitar Covers, in which she showcased her take on other people's music.

While she continued to find support for her tracks online, CloZee was initially met with mixed reception from French crowds who favored trance and techno genres.

Taking her tour to the United States in 2014, she found crowds to be much more receptive towards her style of music, particularly in Oakland, California, Chicago, Illinois, and Denver, Colorado.

[7] The album showcased her ability to seamlessly blend diverse musical elements, creating a sonic tapestry that captivated listeners worldwide.

Its lead single, "Winter is Coming", was written following a visit to Lys, Pyrénées-Atlantiques, with CloZee inspired to create a sound "echoing snowy mountain views"; the title, originally serving as a placeholder, was decided to be kept as a tribute to the TV show Game of Thrones.
