Coats, Kansas

Coats is a city in Pratt County, Kansas, United States.

[6] The town formerly hosted a stop on the Wichita & Englewood division Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe Railroad and had a weekly newspaper (the Courant).

[7] According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.21 square miles (0.54 km2), all of it land.

[8] The climate in this area is characterized by hot, humid summers and generally mild to cool winters.

[9] The 2020 United States census counted 68 people, 32 households, and 21 families in Coats.
