The incumbent is Republican Celeste Maloy, who won the special election to replace Chris Stewart with 57.1% of the vote.
He faced backlash from fellow Democrats for his anti-abortion beliefs, his opposition to president Joe Biden and support for independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and for describing convicted January 6 Capitol attack participants as "politically persecuted."
