Cole, Oklahoma

Cole is a town in McClain County, Oklahoma, United States.

Cole's first post office, created in 1912, was in the Cunningham home, though it was moved later to Read's General Merchandise Store.

[4] The community was hit by an EF3 tornado on the evening of April 19, 2023, destroying multiple houses and killing one person.

[5] According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 15.1 square miles (39 km2), all land.

13.0% of all households were made up of individuals, and 4.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
