Collin Freeland

Collin William Martin Freeland, AO (31 January 1933 – 10 April 2021) was an Australian public servant and policymaker.

[2] In August 1980, Freeland was appointed to his first Secretary job, as head of the Department of Housing and Construction.

[8] Between 1988 and 1990, Freeland was chief executive and managing director of the Civil Aviation Authority.

[1][9] In September 1992, Freeland was appointed Chairman of the National Road Trauma Advisory Council.

[10] Freeland was appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia in June 1988 in recognition of his public service.
