Columbus is a town in Columbia County, Wisconsin, United States.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 31.9 square miles (82.6 km2), all of it land.

As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 711 people, 236 households, and 193 families residing in the town.

There were 241 housing units at an average density of 7.6 per square mile (2.9/km2).

14.8% of all households were made up of individuals, and 5.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
