Concinnia frerei, also known commonly as the stout bar-sided skink or the stout barsided skink, is a species of lizard in the family Scincidae.
The species is endemic to Queensland in Australia.
[2] The specific name, frerei, refers to Mount Bartle Frere where the holotype was collected.
[2][3] C. frerei is found in northeastern Queensland.
[2] The preferred natural habitat of C. frerei is rocky mountaintops, at altitudes of 1,210–1,622 m (3,970–5,322 ft).
