For the 2025-26 school year, the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association will begin sponsoring two new athletic conferences 1 has been named the Glacier Trails Conference and the other is yet to be named as of February 2025.
One of the two conferences is located in south central Wisconsin and will have seven schools formerly in the Capitol Conference and one school from the Rock Valley Conference:[1] The other new conference is located in southeastern Wisconsin, and has three schools that were in the East Central Conference, three formerly of the North Shore Conference and one from the Fox River Classic Conference This has been named the Glacier Trails Conference:[2]
