Cooleemee (/ˈkuːləmi/ KOO-lə-mee)[4] is a town in Davie County, North Carolina, United States.

[5][6] According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.8 square miles (2.1 km2), all land.

As of the 2020 United States census, there were 940 people, 379 households, and 270 families residing in the town.

As of the census[3] of 2000, there were 905 people, 400 households, and 254 families residing in the town.

32.8% of all households were made up of individuals, and 18.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
