Cornelia Emilian (née Ederlly de Medve; 1840–1910) was an Imperial Austrian-born Romanian journalist and women's rights activist.
[1] In 1858, she emigrated to Iași, the capital of Moldavia, soon to become the second city of the Romanian Old Kingdom.
[2] There, she married Ștefan Emilian, a professor at the University of Iași and architect.
She created a school meal program for poor children.
[1] A journalist who wrote to advocate for women's emancipation and their rights, her work appeared in Revista literară, Fântâna Blanduziei, Literatorul, Revista poporului and Familia.
