These products also include those marketed through natural food stores and mainstream direct selling companies.
CRN member companies are expected to comply with a host of federal and state regulations governing dietary supplements in the areas of manufacturing, marketing, quality control and safety.
Its supplier and manufacturer member companies also agree to adhere to additional voluntary guidelines as well as to CRN’s Code of Ethics.
[7] CRN-I is an international arm of the CRN whose mission is to provide science-based information to regulators, health care professionals, and the media, particularly those outside the United States, supporting the safety and benefit of dietary ingredients and supplements, and to promote sound nutrition and food safety policies well-grounded in science.
