Count Ricardo was a chestnut colt by the unfashionable stallion Principality from Shanghai Surprise (dam of Surprise Pick) by the staying influence Imperial Prince (IRE).
Count Ricardo won his debut in a two-year-old race at Mornington, earning $7,150.
