Craig, Missouri

Craig is a city in northwestern Holt County, Missouri, United States.

[5] The city was named after the attorney and Missouri politician James Craig.

[7] The city of Craig lies in the eastern floodplain of the Missouri River and the Burlington Northern Railroad crosses through the town.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.27 square miles (0.70 km2), all land.

The racial makeup of the city was 99.2% White, 0.4% Native American, and 0.4% from other races.

31.8% of all households were made up of individuals, and 15.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

About 14.5% of families and 17.9% of the population were below the poverty line, including 14.5% of those under the age of eighteen and 23.1% of those 65 or over.
