More recently construction has commenced on the opposite side of Narre Warren – Cranbourne Road on further subdivisions.

It was opened in March 1994, and contains a Woolworths supermarket, Priceline Pharmacy, Supercheap Auto, Rivers, Daniel's Donuts and a number of other specialty shops.

[7] The Avenue Village Shopping Centre, located at the southern edge of the suburb off William Thwaites Boulevard, features a Woolworths, BWS store and Chemist Warehouse, alongside some smaller takeaway shops.

[8] The Cranbourne Homemaker Centre is located just outside the formal boundary of the suburb, which includes many national stores.

The Cranbourne Golf Club is located off Glasscocks Road, near the exit off the South Gippsland Highway.
