Cumberland Avenue

Part of Maine State Route 100, it runs for around 1.57 miles (2.53 km) from Merrill Street, on Munjoy Hill, in the northeast, to Deering Avenue in the southwest.

Franklin Towers is located on the western side of the intersection.

Cumberland Avenue crosses the following major intersections (from northeast to southwest): Portland Public Market, in West Bayside,[4] formerly occupied the building at the northeastern corner of Cumberland Avenue and Preble Street.

[5] Maria's Ristorante was in business at 337 Cumberland Avenue between 1960 and 2019,[6] when it moved to Outer Congress Street.

[8] Greater Portland Metro's route 8 (Peninsula Loop) serves Cumberland Avenue.
