Currans (Irish: Na Coirríní)[1] is a small village in County Kerry, Ireland.
In 1866 the western part of Currans was included in the new Catholic parish of Baile na hEaglaise.
[citation needed] As of the 21st century, the villages of Currow and Currans are included in the parish of Killeentierna within the Roman Catholic Diocese of Kerry.
[3] The electoral division in which the village stands, Currans ED, had a population of 221 in 1996.
