Cyril Bland

Cyril Herbert George Bland (23 May 1872 – 1 July 1950) was an English cricketer active from 1897 to 1904 who played for Sussex.

He appeared in 147 first-class matches as a righthanded batsman who bowled right arm fast.

[1] Bland achieved his ten wickets in an innings feat playing for Sussex against Kent at the Angel Ground, Tonbridge, in the 1900 season.

Aged 78, Bland committed suicide by drowning himself in the Greenlands Drain in Boston, Lincolnshire in 1950.
