D-Lightsys

D-Lightsys is a French company that designs and manufactures optical interconnect products specially adapted to the requirements of avionics, space, transports, defense and scientific industries.

The company headquarters are located in Aubervilliers, near Paris, France.

It was founded in 2002 by Mathias Pez and François Quentel, two ex-workers of the Thales Group Advanced Research Center who were specialised in fiber optic interconnection.

On April 15, 2005, Radiall, an electronic component manufacturing company, announced its acquisition of a 40% stake in D-Lightsys.

On January 8, 2008, Radiall announced an increase in its shareholdings of the start-up D-Lightsys to 95%.
