David Kershaw

David Kershaw is a Professor of Law at the London School of Economics (LSE) and the current Dean of LSE Law School.

As well as the author of a leading company law textbook, Kershaw's expertise focuses on accounting principles for companies, for which his work on post-Enron regulation received the Modern Law Review Wedderburn Prize,[2] directors' duties, takeovers and workplace participation.

Kershaw qualified as a Solicitor at Herbert Smith, London and practised corporate law in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group of Shearman & Sterling in New York and London.

In 2006, he joined the Law Department of the LSE, where he was appointed full professor in 2010.

He holds LLM and SJD degrees from Harvard Law School and an LLB from the University of Warwick.
