Dahlia Schweitzer

She is chair of the Film and Media program at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.

Born in Baton Rouge in 1976, Schweitzer studied English and studio art at Wesleyan University before moving to New York and Berlin to live and work.

She moved to Los Angeles in 2006 to study criticism and theory at ArtCenter College of Design, where she taught in the Humanities and Science Department.

[3][4] In 2013, Schweitzer began in the PhD program in cinema and media studies at UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television.
