Dakhla Formation

The Dakhla Formation, also called the Dakhla Shale,[5] is a Maastrichtian-Danian geologic formation in the Western Desert, Egypt.

[4][6] Dinosaur remains are among the fossils that have been recovered from the formation, although none have yet been referred to a specific genus.
