Dr. Dalaly Peter Kafumu (born 4 August 1957) is a Tanzanian CCM politician and Member of Parliament for Igunga constituency since 2011.

He worked at the Geological Survey of Tanzania as an economic geologist responsible for mineral exploration and mining project evaluation, mapping and environmental management from 1983 until 1986.

This include policies and statues that govern the extractive industries; the programs implemented to develop the energy and mineral sectors; as well as the challenges encountered in executing governance, accountability and transparency in the extractive industries in promoting investment opportunities in the country.

As part of the TEITI working Group he acquired knowledge, skills and insights on the EITI processes and activities.
