Damien is a 1994 graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts and teacher and co-owner of "Brave Studios" and "Greentree Acting School" in Footscray, Victoria.
In 2021, Fotiou later had a recurring role in the TV series La Brea as Judah.
Fotiou is married to his Head On co-star, Elena Mandalis, with whom he has two sons.
The couple run a drama school in Melbourne, called 'Brave Studios'.
