On August 29, 2007, the cast was announced on Good Morning America by Tom Bergeron, Carrie Ann Inaba, and reigning celebrity champion Apolo Anton Ohno.

The show was co-hosted by Tom Bergeron and Samantha Harris, with Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli, and Carrie Ann Inaba returning as judges.

[3] During her leave of absence, season two champion Drew Lachey filled in as co-host.
