Daniel Carr (born November 1, 1991) is a Canadian professional ice hockey forward for HC Lugano of the National League (NL).
Originally undrafted by teams in the National Hockey League (NHL), Carr has previously played for the Montreal Canadiens, Vegas Golden Knights, Nashville Predators, and Washington Capitals.
[1] On April 24, 2014, as an undrafted free agent, Carr signed a two-year entry-level contract with the Montreal Canadiens of the National Hockey League (NHL).
[6] On September 5, 2020, as a free agent from the Predators, Carr signed a three-month contract through November 15 by HC Lugano of the National League (NL) as a replacement for injured forward Jani Lajunen.
As an impending free agent, Carr opted to return to Switzerland, rejoining HC Lugano on a one-year contract in July 2021.
