Daniel Ivan "Dan" Klatt (born October 28, 1978) is a retired American water polo player who competed at the 2004 Summer Olympics, where his team finished in seventh place.
He competed in water polo, where he was a two time All-American, and swimming, where he was the Big West Conference Champion at 50m and 100m.
[3] He retired from competitions shortly after the 2004 Olympics to become the head coach of the women's water polo team of the University of California, Irvine.
He was also assistant coach with the national women's water polo team in the 2012 & 2016 Olympic Games[4][5]
